Leapmotor Breaks Industry Record with 101,267 Deliveries in July, First Chinese EV Startup to Surpass 100,000 Monthly Mark
HANGZHOU, China — August 1, 2026 — Leapmotor delivered 101,267 vehicles globally in July 2026, marking a 102% year-on-year surge and becoming the first Chinese new energy vehicle startup to surpass the 100,000-unit monthly delivery threshold.
The milestone represents the company's fifth consecutive month of sequential growth, rising 8.45% from June's 93,376 units. In the first seven months of 2026, Leapmotor has delivered 457,754 vehicles, up 68.42% year-on-year.
Broad Product Portfolio Drives Growth
Leapmotor's four product series — A, B, C, and D — span the 60,000 to 300,000 RMB price range, covering SUVs, sedans, and MPVs with both BEV and EREV powertrain options.
Key contributors include:
-
A-series: A10 delivered nearly 30,000 units in July, ranking top among Chinese-brand SUVs
-
C-series: Cumulative global sales surpassed 850,000 units
-
B-series: B01 and B10 combined for over 20,000 units in July
-
D-series: Flagship SUV D19 exceeded 10,000 monthly deliveries; first MPV D99 began deliveries with average order value above 300,000 RMB

Technology Foundation & Global Expansion
Leapmotor's full-stack in-house R&D approach underpins its growth — over 65% of vehicle costs come from self-developed components, with architecture standardization reaching 88%. The company operates 18+ component factories covering battery systems, e-drives, thermal management, and more.
Leapmotor founder, chairman, and CEO Zhu Jiangming reflected on the achievement: "From 879 monthly deliveries to 100,000, we walked this path for six full years. What we once couldn't imagine, today became reality. This is not the finish line — it's a new starting line".
The company is also accelerating global expansion through its partnership with Stellantis, now covering 40+ markets with over 2,000 stores worldwide, including recent certification and deliveries in Mexico.
